"This tab has been recovered" ... "Explorer has encountered an error and needs to close"
WTF??
What are they doing with it? Have they downloaded some dodgy unreliable "update" to my computer?
This shit is happeneing several times a day.

there's some crap script/flash on the pages that keeps throwing up debug boxes in firefox every 5 minutes ;)
I thought it was just me and IE9 but it does not happen on other sites.
Chrome just seems to hang for periods of time.

I think you should fix this. It happens several times a day and it's beginning to put me off from visiting this site. You wouldn't want to lose users now, would you?
Hi musophilr
Sorry to hear your having problems - could you provide me with some more information.
For example
Which URL you see this error - is it the forum or the main site?
What can you see on the screen?
We don't use flash in the forum - so it must be coming from an advert - but i will need to See the page and it's source code to see which advert it is.
Users can upload certain or link to certain items so it could be coming from that
Thanks for that. It's the forum, often when I've tried to display a thread. It happened a lot with the "Hot women with guitars" thread, but wasn't exclusive to that one.
Didn't see it yesterday, next time it happens I'll try to keep the results. This kind of thing usually happens before you've sussed what's on the screen and if it's an advert I probably won't know which one because I won't have clocked it before IE tries to reload the page.
Sometimes it happens frequently enough for IE to quit the site saying it has retried too many times.
Regards, Phil
It's started doing it again, in the off topic forum. click on a thread and it encounters its silly problem and has to close :(
