It seems my live band retirement is at a end. I iz in the trade again :):)
Completley different to anything I've played before though, no more weddings, no more corperate dos, no more black shirts. No siree, this time its all Folky/Country shizzle. Bring on the checked shirts and pints of real ale with twigs in 'em.
Its a trio, had a jam with the other two last night, I played on the first the song, song finished, and they said "right, you're in". Happy days.
So now I shall be doing some backing singing, some lead singing, some telecastering, some acousticing, some 12 stringing, some mandolining, and some bouzouking (though first I need to learn play the mandolin and bouzouki). Couple of gigs a month for next to no money, but with no pressure, no egos, and plenty of fun. Smashin!
