Opinions on the above please.
Have one locally for sale, cheapish(£70)
Would majority prefer this type of amp to a modded Epi V jr, bascially don't want to buy shed loads of pedals for the Epi.
All opinions invited, you can be brutal!!!

I would go with the Marshall if space isn't an issue. I really liked the MG15DFX I had. At home levels there won't be much in it, tonewise. The whole mini-valve amp thing for bedroom use is overrated, IMO.
what do you want the amp for? what music do you play?
in general its a good price at 70 quid and is giggable, epi vj arent gonna get you in gig range for volume but has a nice tone.
Be warned that these amps are inherently not that reliable. Make absolutely sure it's working properly before spending money on it since a serious repair could cost as much as you're paying for it.
It's a far more versatile and giggable amp than a Valve Junior though. Not at all the same, but unless you specifically want that bluesy/ratty/boxy/delete as applicable ;) small-valve-amp sound, I agree with Bidley.
But, you can also do a lot better for £70. You can get a Peavey Backstage for that or even a Bandit if you're lucky, which is a better-sounding amp than the Marshall (in my opinion) and far more reliable (fact).
totally agree bandits are great amps, shop around, know what sound you want and dig
Have tried the amp out.
Didn't like it!!
The search continues.
Thanks for the advice.
