Orchid Eleccronics (John Godsland) Exeter, Devon. www.orchid-electronics.co.uk makes DI boxes and other pro audio equipment but also services and repairs valve gear. Again very helpful guy

His work is good, fault diagnosis, repair etc. Particularly with valve amps, although has also repaired a couple of pedals for me too. Reasonably priced too. Also has a good stock of valves/spares/components. Will source unusual/obsolete parts for vintage gear if he's repairing. Tends to be busy, so don't expect repairs done while you wait!

Big shout for the already mentioned Electronic Music Services, they serviced my 5150 and DSL together within 10 days and at a reasonable cost. I believe that PMT in Southend also use them.

Heard good things about this guy.

http://www.saveltd.co.uk/ did a great job servicing my old Valvestate. Based in Cheltenham they do all sorts of hire, sales and installation for CCTV, TV projection, sound and lighting systems and dancefloor rental.

Another great tech is Paul Huish in the Berkshire/Windsor Area.
