    Default Half stack/head wanted....

I'm after a new amp for use with my band (bit fed up of borrowing my bassist's Mode Four - great amp, but I'd prefer my own, and my practice amp isn't up to much (it's an ancient Line 6 Spider)... I'm working to a fairly tight budget, ideally no more than £200 (I know I won't get much but I really don't mind something that's a bit beaten up, as long as it's working)... soo, has anybody got anything they're selling? Ideally a head and cab, and a footswitch for the head is a must. I'm not too fussed about it being solid state (I very much doubt I'd get a full valve head for my shoestring budget!) and at a push I can stretch to £250, but that'd be an absolute maximum.

Should probably mention, my main guitars are a Squier Tele Custom II with P90s and an LTD EC200 with EMG HZ pickups. Occasionally use a Dean Explorer and an Epi SG too.

Not got anything to offer you, but if you're after a suggestion....

Fits in your budget, and all available intelligence suggests they're brilliant amps. Two channel + footswitchable effects loop...

Sadly, nowhere exciting. I'm in the picturesque locale of Lincolnshire.

Might be a bit far then; friend of mine in Birmingham's selling a Peavey 4x12 for a ton or near offer which'd be a good basis for a half-stack...

I have a Mode Four head I'd be willing to sell, but sadly a little out of your budget...
