Light travels faster than sound, some people appear bright until they make a noise.

How's she playing, now that you've dressed the frets?
Could be a bit better. I need to buy a couple of (expensive!) tools to get the job 100%. there's a couple of points where my bends fret out, although it's not very often it happens so I've been a bit lazy in getting it sorted so far. I love this guitar! totally my go-to instrument!

It's not everyone's cup of tea, and it is in no way attempting to be a genuine 'relic' look, but I'm not keen on either very clean maple fretboards or the finger wear on vintage stuff so something different had to be done.

It is basically dome with small tins of humbrol paint, the sort used for modelmaking. I basically mixed up some matte browns, painted them all over the fretboard (frets & all), left it to dry for some time, then wiped it off with a rag. The frets polish up nicely, and the dark colour collects around the frets somewhat. I did it a couple of times, once lightly to colour the tone of the wood a bit, and the other to get the darker areas. It smells for a few weeks and then it's OK. As I said, not everyones thing, but I am very happy with the outcome so that's what counts!

    That looks very cool!
The conductor said I could get my bookbag and run around the hallway with it.
