Mine's an earlier model without the ground lift (though I've never needed it). Does the same thing as the new one.

The Weber and the Palmer are a fantastic combination for direct recording from an amp. Absolutely stellar results - much better than a modelling box. Alex Lifeson and others use Palmer PDI-03s on stage too - the exact same technology as in the PDI-09 but with a dummy load.
