    I always liked them.

The "Kingdon Clone" tag used to annoy me. Everyone sounds like previous bands.

Hell, most of Metallica's Kill em all was other riffs! Didn't realised until I started digging back through old NWOBHM stuff.

    Regards

used to cover Star gazer, and Do you like it.... many years ago.... still knock "do you like it" out now and again when practicing..

good band, not great, but with some cracking tunes.... (but by no means all of them.... some were just a bit too pedestrian to make this band "great" )

do people really care all that much who someone is influenced by? I never felt as if they were trying to do Led Zep a la paint by numbers... so they wrote slightly similar veined material in places.... whooopdeedoodah so feckin what?

    now you've done that.....
I'll have to bugger off to play stargazer again.... been several years since i last thrashed it out...

Love kingdom come, still listen to 'hands of time' album regularly one of my all time faves and In your face is good too. I'm a big zep fan and I always thought the zep ripoff tag was very unfair? Maybe just me

Oooh! Give me a couple of examples please.

I am just amazed about their last album hype. I rushed out and bought it too. Gave it away - they just seem to have run out of ideas (if they had any to start with). The band where "No image" was actually their image! Still feel conned by it. Rant over

    Regards

Orion's midsection is Phoenix by Wishbone Ash and Sanatorium is largely borrowed from Rainbow Warrior by Bleak House.

I bought their first 2 LPs and saw them live as well. I thought that they were a kick-ass rock band with some good tunes. Waaaay better that a lot of the twadge around back then. I think it's a shame that the zep tag stuck rather than people listening to the qualities of the band.

Haven't played their stuff for a great many years now though as it's part of my vinyl collection and I haven't had a record player for about 18 years or so.
