Got my panto late Jan doing Sinderella (spelt like that) in Felixstowe. Hardly any kidds go these days but the adults love it. I think there are only about 15 tickets left for the whole run at this stage and theres nearly 4 weeks to the start!
You're not wrong about that! Some of the songs are beginning to make sense just as the run is about to end. Good luck with yours, break a leg!

News eve at the Tavern on the green in Crawley. Could be mental.

Sat'day: private party, our bass player in hospital so we have a last minute dep. Last gig we had deps on keys and drums. I am, however, irreplaceable...

...hmm, maybe I should be, the dep knew the stuff better than me, although I was busy trying to add some vocal bits our bass player normally does.At one point I couldn't remember the words and just did some approximate sounding noises.Playing a very high ceiling room with lots of wood and glass so the guitar sounded like Dick Dale down a well wasn't much help either.

Back out with 'Playback' this Saturday.

A new venue for us, The Trident in Cannock (166 Chase Road, Burntwood WS7 0DX).

Looks like it'll be the super stripped down power trio version...he he.

I'm out with Playback tonight at The Exchange in Leamington (CV31 3AN). Free entry, starting 8:30/9ish.

Played there a few times with the other lot, but this will be our debut gig there with Playback.

Plus I'll be giving my 'B' board a try, featuring the Lovepedal Les Luis I won in the Andertons NAMM comp and the Gristle King I just got back from Fret.
