    We're once-a fortnight in general.

I think this rehearsal regularity stuff deserves its own thread!

Would be nice to do the same but sadly two kids and a mortgage has put my musical ambitions on hold for a while.(about 20 years so far )

well knackered now, seriously think I`m getting a bit old for 3 gigs in two days.
Feel I can still do it but it takes longer to recover.
But what a difference in the gigs, played with my band using our depping Keys guy , great low volume great sound gig, band was on form and audiance were well up for it.
2nd gig sunday 4-7pm playing times, was a real rock and roll blast, band are mad as hell and great fun to play Bass for, their version of "shakin all over" is wild and goes on for about 5mins, where the singer goes from Johnny Kidd to Robert plant to Roy Orbison in same song !
after numerous(too many ) encores I managed to run to car at 7:30 and get to next gig for 8:30, where wife (bless her)had taken my van with PA and all my gear for band to start setting up.
Straight in I do sound for band set my guitar up and go straight into gig.
But allthough crowd were extremely noisy and up for it, It became quite apparent that other guitarist/keys player in band, had a different view of his own volume to rest of band, and sadly he is being replaced soon. Great musician but his ability to play as part of the band and within the mix, has been lost since playing with a very loud rock band recently.
So all in all 3 very different gigs, with 3 lineups on two instruments two different counties equals one knackered but happy welshman
