Default Thick as a Brick 2, Anyone Heard it?

I wore out several vinyl copies of "Thick as a Brick" over the years and just read that Ian Anderson is releasing a new one that checks in on what Gerald Bostock is up to these days. I'll probably buy a copy but was wondering if anyone here has heard it.

I heard it played live last night in Newcastle, along with the original.

Always difficult to tell what something is like when you hear it for the first time in a live environment but, musically, it's like later period Jethro Tull - as you might expect. Not sure if it was a problem with the sound mix, or where I was sitting, but I couldn't really hear the lyrics that well, so I'm not really much the wiser about the fate of Gerald Bostock.

It sounded good though, so I'll most likely get the album, but I don't expect it to surpass the original. If you like Jethro Tull you'll probably like it

I don't know where you are, but the tour dates are here:

Not heard it myself. But a bloke at work is a big tull fan and tells me he's enjoying it.

I've only listened to TAAB 2 once, but I was pleased by what I heard. Presently, I prefer the original, which I have on vinyl & CD, but this is probably because I'm more familiar with it - I'm sure a few more listens to TAAB 2 and I'll love it just as much as the original 'Brick'.
After all it is Jethro Tull and they've never really put a foot wrong, have they

“Jazz, isn’t that just a series of mistakes disguised as musical composition?”

    Under Wraps ??

But then, it's not really Tull after the post-Stormwatch cull.
