    Default Duplicate File finder

Anyone used a decent free duplicate file finder?

My I=tunes is in state ( I hate itunes but stuck with it for now)
I have some 2000 duplicate files that Itunes keeps recreating, I can use the "show duplicate" tab but it takes an age to select then delete.
Rick 330 Jetglo, Rick 360 Fireglo.
    Yamaha SG3000S, Yamaha SG3000, Yamaha SG1500.
Gibson SG 61 RI, Gibson Explorer 76 RI
    Taylor 414CE, EBMM Axis SS.

    Duplicate how?

If you mean identical in the sense that two files have equal MD5s it should be trivial, and again trivial if the files have identical ID3 tags but if you mean songs that are the same but have a different bitrate and associated metadata I'm not sure that's entirely possible.

    Update:
I really should've read the original post properly... iTunes keeps creating duplicate files? Eh. That's definitely odd

My iTunes does exactly the same thing, as did a friend's. He has however decided to use on of the free duplicate file finder programs, which the deleted his entire library, some 10,000 songs, gone! (well 10,000 less the duplicated ones!)

I'd heard that there was some bug fix in more recent updates, but unsure on how accurate this is , might stop it making new files. I however am in the process of manually removing all the duplicated files.
