I tend to find that less is more...i.e don't use the whole travel of the pedal for them shaft/Hendrix moments, its more a case of hovering around the "W" area and "AH"ing it up to the top end.

I have an abundance of Wah's around the place and I find that they all sound crap if you just use the full travel, however, once you start working on the mid travel technique they sound a lot better....
    I'm a pedal addict....

The thing is that I agree with Noodles, I really like the Morley as a thing to use, I'm just not mad keen on the sound, so is there any option to mod with these ?

Totally agree. It makes many of the 'wah x is better because the treadle has more travel' discussions moot, imho.
    Red ones are better.

And that's fine but for me I really would like that extra sweep range, I'm thinking maybe the Ibanez Weeping Demon...

I'm fairly sure there would be; from my limited memory and a bit of basic digging, shouldn't there be pretty much one resistor somewhere in the vicinity of the inductor which determines the 'Q' of the sweep? Replace that with a different value or a 'resistor-plus-pot-on-flying-wires' setup, maybe...

Oooh, there's interesting, particularly as there is a lot of spare 'real estate' on the top face of the pedal that you could bring a pot out on to for easy access & tweaking..
So even though it's an optical switch etc,etc it's still using a basic resistor to determine the 'breadth' of the sweep ?

I'd need to get it back from Travis first and open it up..

And I'm afraid that I've got no clue what I'm looking at, Don't suppose anyone's able to translate are they please ?
