I've got the RV-7, the spring setting sounds better than my Vibrolux's reverb. They really are fantastic pedals. I don't think i've ever really heard a bad word about any of the hardwire pedals!

    I had the TL-2 for a while , a very versatile metal pedal .
Wasnt too keen on the tight setting ...the Digitech Metal Master ,Boss Metal Core & Line 6 Uber Metal all do heavier and tighter distortion but had a great time messing around with the "loose" mode. Other than that I only have RV7 and DL8 , would love to get my hands on the CR-7 , big fan of Hardwire pedals .

You mean the chorus or the delay?

I think the delay is probably on a par with the Nova, but then again I think the delays in the Nova are excellent and very versatile. You could probably get most variations of the delays in the Hardwire with the Nova apart from two that spring to mind: the reverse delay mode (which is cool but has bugger all real-world use) and the looper pedal function.

The Hardwire chorus is significantly better than the Nova's chorus - I'm not a fan of the Nova's modulations though. I did try and get the Nova to mimic my most-used chorus settings from the Hardwire (to see if I could live without the Hardwire Chorus on the board and raise some money) and after a hell of a lot of tweaking got very close, but there was still something lacking compared to the Digitech, some depth and detail.

That said, I could do with funds for an EVH Phase 90 so may try again tomorrow!
