FS - Gilmour-ish Strat, EB VPJr Volume Pedal, various pickups
Thinking of moving all this lot on, mostly to fund a decent vocal mic (or, you know, whatever is random GAS flavour of the month next week.. )
Gilmour tribute Strat.
Built for the Clarksonesque, this is a partscaster built close to Gilmour specs, and over budget for the challenge!
Neck is "Signature by Tanglewood" branded, with a soft-V Clapton kinda feel. Fretboard is around 10" radius and frets are relatively small.
Body is alder, with a thin nitro finish. It's not factory-quality, and has fair few of scuffs and dings and marks in the wood, but looks honest and will age really nicely.
Pickups are Ironstone Silvers. Asian made (I assume), but properly constructed with alinco poles, not a bar magnet. They sound way better than I expected them to tbh! Wiring is CTS/Sprague/Switchcraft with a push/pull to add the Bridge pickup to any other setting for a lovely faux-tele sound
Trem is Squier CV and machineheads are Wilkinson.
Price drop to £110. Pickup only from London E3 or Norfolk NR18 as I have no spare cases or boxes at the mo. (Or could meet halfway from E3 for petrol)
Next up is an Ernie Ball VP Jr volume pedal, 250k model. Gigged loads but perfect condition. Complete with free heavy-duty velcro on the bottom £59 posted SOLD
Tonerider AC2 Alnico2 neck pickup. 4-conductor wiring, nickel cover. Just a nice old PAF sound, used in my SG for 3 gigs (all wires still full length). Boxed and almost new. £24 postedSOLD
