    Default DOD Pedals

Anyone know anything about them? There's a few on ebay but no idea if they're good or just very cheap things

Like most large brands some are good, some are bad and some are ugly (Gonkulator!). What pedals are you interested in specifically?

Nothing specific as there's a lot on there. Just doing my regular searching on ebay for pedal bargains. Lots are around £20-30 but didn't know if that was good or not

The early ice chorus pedals are a good buy as they're pretty close to the CE-2 in components and a nice sounding pedal

The Grunge was the pedal du jour when I started playing, their actually more versatile than the name suggests. A few other pretty good ones in the mid-late 90s range as well IIRC...

They're very good, about on a par with Boss and Ibanez for sound quality, build quality and reliability, but often a bit more quirky and extreme.

The things to watch out for if you're buying an old one are a missing or broken battery door (common) or a faulty footswitch (not so common, but more so than Boss etc).

I have a Milk Box, really good compressor but a tad noisy.

If your running your pedals in daisy chain then you will need an adaptor for the DoD as they dont use boss style dc power supply sockets and I think they are negative sleeve too !
