    Angry Rarghhhh

I have anger issues. Everything is pissing me off right now. I'm not used to being angry and I don't know where to direct it. I walk a lot, started "running" again yesterday.

I've finished OU for the summer, so don't have that as a distraction, I'm looking to get back in to work, part time at first, but with my social retardedism it limits my options, and I'm constantly worried about benefits cuts and how I'll get kicked off them.

Physical exercise is recommended by most people as to be a 'safe' release.

What about meeting folk across the river and walking there?

I know exactly how you feel - and some days I'm blessed that the dog gets me up and makes me take him out for a run about. But I won't be naive and suggest you buy a dog (but secretly, I do).

"There is nothing to fear but fear itself". (I should take more heed of that myself) you should go for the moment and not what might be the moment later. Nothing wrong in planning for the future but don't cripple your actions with fear. Many of the people we look up to and respect are those that act decisively and push ahead, something we can all do a bit more of, really. Easy for me to type here on the interwebs but you owe it to yourself to move forward and reinforce the lessons of success.

    knocking one out is another.

Here's a thought for you, Holn. Anger is what's called a racket emotion, people (mostly men) unconsciously use anger to drown out another emotion. So if you deny the anger, by taking a walk, listening to happy making music and accept the anger but not act on it (even denying it) just let it be there.. maybe take long deep breaths - then you're probably going to get an insight into what's at the heart of it.

I live for that shit, but I understand if it's not your thing

I feel better today. I think it's residual anger from my ex-landlord being awful and I want justice to be done.

I will be getting a dog though.

Good Man. I wish you well with all of this, sounds as though you have been in some nasty situations with ex Landlord and hopefully you can now move forward

I like to calm down by listening to Jeremy Vine, or in this week's case, Vanessa Feltz. I love to listen to people getting wound up - it calms me down.

You could start lifting weights 3 times a week and do 6 session of cardio 30-60 mins a session.
I'd also suggest that you eat a clean diet and drop alcohol completely.

I chill out when I exercise and eat right.
