washer for pedal switch

where can i get a washer/nut/ whatever its called to go round the pedal footswitch ones come off on one of my pedals

Call in at any music shop with a repair service. There are several slightly different threads even of the ones that look all the same size, so it can be trial and error getting the right one. Most techs have dozens of them in a box that they can't quite bring themselves to throw out but don't need very often... they'll probably let you have one for free if you buy a set of strings or something.
