Need help (Zoom G3)

Sorry for posting the umpteenth G3 topic!

I've just tried hooking it up to my PC to do a bit of recording with the bundled Sequel software and I can't get it to record anything, or even make any sound

I've got the ASIO driver installed, my audio settings set to the G3, the ASIO driver selected in Sequel, G3 connected to PC via USB, guitar plugged into the input, amp connected to the output and.... nothing. No sound from the PC (sound from the amp though), and Sequel isn't recording a signal at all (flat lines). What do I do? What have I done wrong?

The sound won't come out of the PC, it'll come through the G3 headphone socket.

The G3 doesn't have a dedicated headphone socket, but I do have an amp plugged in the output for monitoring, and sound comes out there fine. Still nothing recording though, no signal going to the PC...

Well I tried it with Audacity and it works fine and dandy. The Bogner model sounds better than it has any right to

Mine just arrived. There is a phone socket, one of the outputs is dual use.
