For playing guitar I definately prefer an acoustic, however as a telecoms device the iphone just nudges it for me.

Congrats on a refreshing change in comparison questioning. Rather than the usual Tubescreamer vs OCD rubbish we should have more threads like this: which do you prefer, bungalows or ice cream?

Alternatively, you could look for a used, smaller guitar and you just might be able to also get the electrical telephone with integral music box facility that you so desire.

For instance, I just happen to know someone with a Farida parlour up for sale for a paltry £150.*

Also, cheese is better than a helicopter.

I'm in the one that's in East Merseyside.

If I see anyone who looks like they might be Bertie's boss, I'll give them an anonymous kick from him.

Unless of course they want to buy my Farida, in which case I'll shake them warmly by the hand, buy them a pint of nutbrown ale and inform them of the staggering amount of time he spends in this place.

I've got a friend who may be interested in your Farida. Could you tell me a bit more about it please?

That's the one. There's a rabid City fan across the road so I'll go and kick him anyway.

    Of course.

Solid spruce top, laminated rosewood b/s 12-fret neck join with a chunky-V profile. In good condition with no dents bangs or scratches.

Here's the last for sale post I made with photo links.

Noticed that I was asking £140 + shipping (so I'll honour that) or £110 without the case. I will do it for £100 without the case as I can definitely reuse it. This would have to be local pickup though (Newton-le-Willows but not the one in Yorkshire ). I've still not got a box for shipping so I would need to source one.

Here's a brief, low-grade recording (both sonically and musicianly) that might give a general idea of sound: http://www.brendanashbrook.pwp.bluey....uk/farida.mp3

    Any more questions, please ask.
