    ...my Daughter earlier on ready for the 'leaving primary school dance'

    secondary school after the summer hols so I still have the possibility of time standing still over the next 7 odd weeks all girls school so 1 half of the population less to worry about.

    I know what you mean. Mine has just finished GCSEs and has started the induction part of her A levels. Still only feels like yesterday she started at primary. Where the hell has the time gone.

    I found myself caught out a couple of months ago. My daughter's 17 in 4 days time. She and I have been going to several University Open Days recently. It really hit me, when she was filling out an online application for one Open Day, and it asked " which year do you plan to start at Uni ?". When she typed in 2013, I thought "Christ that's next year".

    Bah, all these end of year dances, load of American tosh.

    I didn't even get a school dance when I left 6th form.

    Make the most of it, mine are only 5+7 but time is going sooo fast, they change a little bit every day.

    Yes defiantly the school rebel. She goes to private school and most of the girls are rich horsey types. Little Daddies girls. (they can be nasty pieces of work though).
    Her way of being scary without the attitude.
