We had a brand new Ford, main dealer serviced all it's life, which still threw a conrod through the crankcases. Did Ford take any responsibility? Like hell they did...
A Honda main dealer charged us £400 for fitting four coils. It still didn't solve the misfire...

A friend of mine took his beemer to the main dealer. They filled his car to the brim with oil (yes actually to the top) and also tried to tell him a component in the steering had "play" in it and needed to be replaced at the cost of £1000 when it was actually a sprung component and was therefore supposed to move.
