    Default Sigma 000M-15

Anyone have any experience with one of these?

My local doesnt have any in stock so unable to have a play and was wondering what the opinion was, cheap as chips too, 700 quid cheaper than the Martin equivalent!!

    Could become my travel guitar...........

Ive played the DM1 STE i was knocked out, when the guy in the shop told me the price I almost fainted. i mean its probably made by someone whose got the same quality of lfe as a Mancunian in 1804. But human rights issues aside its a great guitar.

There's a big downside with all of these Sigmas (and Recording Kings too for that matter), they all have a very slim C profile neck, slimmer than a Fender MIM for example, and it just feels wrong on an acoustic!

Other than that they're pretty good, but I can't get past the neck

you wouldnt like a Brook then.............on the R-Kings web site it says the ROS models are Vintage V profile which is what's put me off chasing one down..................... a 'normal' C is ideal but Id much prefer a slim C over a V.......... really cannot get on with Vs -

    EDIT

ah it looks like its just the RS models that have the slim C, RO and ROS are all Vs

Oh, I'd been told differently by Westside distribution? That's good to know though, I like V profiles & quite chunky ideally necks. I've got my eye on one of the new Adirondack RK Dread's (RD-316), but if I'm not keen though I'll probably grab the Tanglewood in my sig as they sound superb even though they're only solid tops at virtually the same pricepoint!

If it wasn't for the profile I'd be going for the Sigma D-35 or HD-28

Well, found one to try today..........we came home together

What a great little guitar, sounds great, more bassy than I had imagined and I love the skinny neck, after playing a Guild all year with its wide, flat neck this thing is a joy.

Also tried the 000R-2V.............luverly, got a feeling a few guitars are going to have to go now to make room.

played a Sigma 00015 beside a Martin 00015, and must say the Sigma held up well. I also played a Tanglewood 000 style, and it sounded pretty neat as well...
