Default Guitarist Available For Working Band - Surrey

    Hiya,

I'm after one of these and hope I not asking too much

A function band or gigging covers band that needs an experienced, melodic and versatile lead/rhythm guitar player (that's me) that's based in and around Surrey/South London and goes out and gets PAID gigs at least once a month in that neck of the woods. If you fun, nice people and good musicians, I'd love to hear from you.

Whilst I prefer the more funky stuff for a function band, I also wear my "80's Kid Banner" with pride thus I'm influenced in style and sounds by 80's stuff like Stevie Wonder, MJ, Chic, EWF, The Police, Go West, and AOR, melodic classic rock/West Coast stuff like Floyd, Steely Dan, Toto, Thin Lizzy, Gary Moore, Santana, Doobies, Eagles, Chicago and Journey. I do like more contemporary stuff too like John Mayer, RHCP, Scissor Sisters,The Feeling, Maroon 5 etc. I can also offer some occasional b.v's too, have transport, good gear, I'm reliable and have a good and easy attitude.

What I'm NOT looking for is an indie, heavy rock, blues or an originals band or individuals to start a band or starter/inexperienced musicians.

If interested or have something to offer, please PM me.

Based in Wallington, Surrey (near Croydon/Sutton/Epsom) and after years of playing and rehearsing over the river, in Central and North London etc.. just looking for something closer to home

    Cheers

No such thing as "asking too much" when it comes to what you're really thinking about how you want to work and who you want to work with. Whether or not that ends up happening is another question....

Sounds like a detailed enough list of what you have to offer.

    Best of luck to you.

cheers Nik and as someone recently said to me "it makes a change to see someone putting what they don't want too"!

Seriously chaps, I'm not a fussy git. I've just been around the block a few times!
