What boils my piss is The Only Way is Essex, and Made in Chelsea, and shows of their ilk.
I don't watch them, but my Twitter feed is full of people who do, and see fit to update EVERYONE on the latest events, even if (like me) most of their followers couldn't give a boiled rat's hairless arse what some rich, thick wanker's latest haircut looks like, or what his latest smug, shithead nightclub circle jerk was like, or what his last bowel movement smelt like, or what his idiotic, plastic Cyberman friends do with their achingly irrelevant, cosseted existences.
And it boils my piss that people look up to them. WHY? What the hell is there in them which could possibly be considered role model material? Then again, they're making a bleeding mint from arsing about, doing what basically amounts to nothing on camera, so they probably know something I don't...
It is truly baffling to me that enough people give enough of a shit about these walking haircuts to merit there being a whole TV series (or several) made about them.
And yes, I realise that, given that I'm sitting here venting my spleen onto a public forum while they're making millions for merely EXISTING on screen, my existence is even more pointless than theirs, but at least I'm not on TV expecting people to care about what I'm doing. I don't really even expect people who read my posts to give them or me a second thought, which is probably just as well.
As you can tell, I'm not a huge fan of reality TV.

I'm also now irritated at myself as well, simply because that last post was so unbelievably ranty and angry, and now I feel like a dick for even putting fingers to keyboard.
I mean, I dislike those above-mentioned cretinous "entertainment" shows, but really... disproportionate reaction, or what? I'm generally a bit of a keyboard warrior as it is, but this is a new level. I should probably calm down a bit. After all, it's not as if I'm fooling anyone... I'm an angry teenaged scallywag hiding behind a monitor when I should be out having a social life.

As a side note, I'm now consumed with fear that someone who actually appears on one of these shows will see my post and imagine a scrawny teenage nerd with braces and greasy hair sitting in his parents' attic spewing bile onto the good pages of Music Radar. They have success and money, and I sit here alone, typing out hateful diatribes in the vain hope that it might elicit a chuckle or the slightest wry grin from someone on the internet. They will then go to sleep, unflustered, on a bed of money, and wake up in the morning, shower in myrrh and bull semen, and then get a spray tan and wait for the camera crews to arrive. They shan't be thinking of me, and they're right not to.
But still, I hope that isn't the image they have of me.
I mean, my hair is rather well-looked-after (not anywhere near as preened and primped as anyone from TOWIE, mind) and I'm sitting in my bedroom, not the attic.
EDIT: The other possibility is that someone from TOWIE sees the post and feels hurt and upset by it. This is unlikely, given that they're rich enough not to need to give a toss what some long-haired kid thinks of them, but still, despite all the crap I tend to come out with, I always feel truly awful if I cause genuine offence to someone.

I'd heard about it for ages, and asked my daughter (22) what it was all about - she said it was shit. Eventually, I had to go and have a look.. I just don't get it, at all.. Best description of it I've read is that it's like 'a (virtual) public toilet wall'..

I'm so disinterested that I only recently saw and deciphered what TOWIE ment.
My life is calm and reasonably fulfilled.
I can only feel sorry for those that need to fill a void with such 'entertainment'.
