It's an instinctual response to reach out your hand when somebody passes you something.
I make a conscious effort not to, and just look at the person proferring their shite at me. They usually look confused and uncomfortable. If I want to make them feel really bad I raise my eyebrows and look at them over the top of my specs.
I'll tell you what really grinds my gears. The time I waste trying to find threads or posts that are over a month old. It's a fkn nightmare. I've had to check through old emails to find what I'm looking for.

A few years ago I picked up the post a few seconds after it was shoved through the letterbox. It was all for someone else in the next road.
