I was hoping the abscess would be gone by the New Year, but that's looking unlikely atm as the remnants are still there and it's still leaking pus. Granted it's getting smaller by the week and is no longer painful, but what a stubborn f#cker, it just doesn't want to go.

As per expectations, the bit of a cough I had over the weekend looks like developing into full blown man-flu, so I'm not at my best atm and certainly won't be seeing the New Year in anywhere but my bed.
