Default Source for Decent Quality "Waterslide" Headstock Logos?

I've been refinishing my Tele and needed a new Headstock Decal for it.......I order a one from an outfit in the USA - it arrived this week and it is total garbage - the letters are all askew and the "golden" outline around the Fender logo looks like it was drawn on with a Yellow felt-tip pen!...

Anyone got any decent sources they can recommend who do a quality product.....don't mind paying a decent price....

    Thanks!

Would agree with Rothko and Frost. Their decals are very good quality but they are VERY thin. I ordered one, cocked it up, ordered a second, cocked it up too. I sent a rather frustrated email to them and they very patiently sent me a couple more free of charge and lightly coated to make them a little more resilient (an idiots version if you like), and this time it worked a treat. Great customer service. They do decals in the style of, rather than genuine fender branded ones as that's, er, illegal like.

no its not, there are a few legal reasons to want a reproduction fender logo

it could be for a restoration project or a replica you are making for your own use.

museums are even allowed to create replicas of precious items and antiquities for display purposes - i wonder if we can apply that to guitars yet

Im not saying that there isnt a legit requirement for them but wouldn't it need to be liscenced by Fender?, I can't imagine you can just go around recreating company logos without permission.

I seem to remember that Fender would send you replacement decals as long as they were satisfied you had the original instrument (serial number matches instrument spec etc.)

There was an article in Guitar & Bass a few months ago when they made one as part of a restoration (not an actual Fender). Done with waterslide laser printer paper with the gold painted in with a felt pen on the back side of the decal somehow.

Thought I'd resurrect this thread as I would like a Fender 1950s decal - I had a quick Google and came across this chap - http://www.guitardecals.co.uk/

    Anyone used him?

I've not, but even their samples look a bit ropey..
