Default FT/FS: 1973 Gibson EB3 Bass, all Original...... REDUCED!!

Having just bought a long scale bass I really can't justify keeping my EB3 as well. I'm a guitarist, not a bass player, and just use a bass when messing around with a 16 track.

The EB3 is in pretty good condition for a guitar that's nearly 40 years old and it weighs in at 9.2lb which means it isn't a back-breaker either.

Everything works perfectly and the action, for me, is pretty good. including The varitone functions well (I think!!) - all the selections provide a different sound and assume these are as intended. I tend just to use either pickup on its own or sometimes both pickups.

The pots are dated 1973 and the serial number is: 106775

The case is a home-made job but pretty damn solid and light as well. It's as strong as a standard case. Fits the bass well too so there's a minimum of movement.

Tuners are the original Schallers and work well, no tuning issues at all. It's fitted with Fender light gauge short-scale strings.

Frets are pretty good too and they are original. No issues in terms of excessive wear.

Happy to consider Guitars/Amps or an old Fender Bass as trade/part ex/cash either way ....WHY?

Now £850 and happy to ship anywhere.
