Default Downloading Zinio reader for pc

I have purchased the dl version of Computer Music and am trying to download the Zinio reader so that I can view it, but I get constant download errors when trying to get Adobe Air (why they make you download the reader and Air at the same time is beyond me). I have tried this on several computers and get the same problem.

Anyone got any ideas as at the moment it is a total waste of money.

Please let us download pdfs instead.

did you try downloading and installing AIR directly:
    http://get.adobe.com/air/

and then restarting the browser and going back to the zinio page

i did that myself and no problems

Don't know if it is moot but I have had this problem with Flashplayer and iPlayer.

I find I cannot install upgrades and the only recourse is to unistall all adobe progs (but not acrobat) and let the site start afresh.

i've had problems trying to 'update' flash player via its own updater

so i just go here and download the installers and just install them over the top, works perfectly every time

Thanks for your help fazer but I have tried everything - installing Air direct from Adobe then going to the reader page, click on the 'Click here to download....' and it still tries to download Air!!!

I have turned my firewall off and still the same.

Unless I am doing something stupid it just isn't working. I mailed the support and have heard nothing back, great customer service!
