Default WTB: Low(ish) gain overdrive pedals...

T-Rex Alberta, Ibanez TubeScreamer, etc. What have you got? Or perhaps something that can do other interesting things too?

    Cheers

There's an Xotic AC Boost for sale here, despite being labelled a Boost pedal it's really a mighty fine low/ mid overdrive pedal.

    Here's the link:

    Thanks for your replies, guys.

The AC booster does look interesting, although I'd never really considered one for this purpose. Will look again.

slate, I've already got a blue boy deluxe (that is definitely staying, btw) and not really sure the Timmy is what I'm after.

    Cool :-)
Blueboys are amazing , arent they ??

AC booster is good - i used to have on 'til i got the timmy .
The timmy does everything the AC does - but better - and then some .
Its got way more gain available and the two band eq , plus 3 clipping settings ...
    All good though ...
    :-)

I've got a Gearmandude Luther Drive for sale, which is meant to be like a Tubescreamer on steroids!

I've never had a TS, as never really thought they were my thing, and turns out the Luther doesn't do it for me either!

The Ac is mine mate and at risk of the hard sell its a phenomenal OD pedal. Very flexible can do very very low gain, and quite a lot more. Check out the proguitarshop demo on YouTube.

Thanks for all the responses, gents. I think I'm sorted for now with the AC booster.
