We were booked for wedding on Saturday and got to the venue, thought it was a bit run down and weird, smelt of dead people and staffed by oaps but just figured the couple were on a tight budget and splashing out for a band, fair enough. But oh no, around the corner from the venue room was a full blown Masonic temple with picture of grand masters in fucking ridiculous wizard costumes! The whole place had a really sinister vibe and I'm convinced the pervading smell of dead bodies was in fact decaying virgin's corpses in the crypt! The building was kind of gothic and creepy with horror gargoyles etc like an old psychiatric hospital, you could just feel like some incredibly bad things had happenned there. I feel violated and dirty, I would like to see the place nuked and the ground doused in holy water!!!!

Have you ever researched into the Freemasons? They're a group of men who get together to talk about how they can improve their community or help those less fortunate than themselves.

It wasn't physically horrible apart from the smell (!) just psychologically and spiritually disturbing - definitely in my top 5 worst gigs
