Melodyne problem - track deleted but still plays!

We've been playing with Melodyne Editor in Logic 8 for the first time here today and have come across a wierd problem.

We tuned some vocals then deleted the track that it was on (the whole track, not just the audio region). For some reason I can still hear the vocal play back. I understand that Melodyne plays it back rather than Logic but Melodyne is not in the project any more, like I said, we deleted the track.

Disabling it in the AU manager stops the playback but the vocal comes back once Melodyne is turned back on in the AU manager. Melodyne is needed in the track so we need to sort this out. Any ideas?

I guess you still have it in Melodynes own temp folder. Melodyne saves everything in its own folder for history.

look at the mixer page in the environment, chances are the channel is still there with the melodyne plug in active..... remove the plug in....


note i DO mean the environment , NOT the mixer window...
