How do you pronounce latte then?
Playing whilst drunk is only permissable if all other band members are in a similar state.

    It's definitely "cap-o"

As for Latte, in Italian it's "Lah-tey", which is English is perfectly accepatable as either "latt-ay", or "lar-tay". And you sound like a dick going into Starbucks and asking for a latt-ay. In my 18 months working in a coffee shop I don't remember more than 1% of customers asking for a "latt-ay", and they were always pretentious dicks

    Or Northerners

Personally, I wouldn't go into a coffee shop. Not in a world where pubs exist.

    I say latt-ay... it's "lar-tay" which sounds pretentious/dickish to me. Like "yah/yar".

On the other hand I'm not in the 1% either since I wouldn't be going into a Starbucks. Or not unless someone else was paying, and then only if there was nowhere else.

    Yes.

Why do some English regional accents add an "r" to words like this where none exists?
