    Default McPherson Guitars

OMFG I listened to one today and have seriously bad GAS

After the initial WTF at the kidney shaped soundhole, I was blown away by the sound - I can't think of adjectives to do it justice. The guy playing it was checking out against really high end Martin & Collings - there was simply no comparison.

Really nice spruce top and stunning sides & back in Indian Rosewood, lovely binding, and a stunning flamed maple neck. Don't be put off by the radical shape. They sound bloody amazing, with a sustain that seems indefinite ....

I've got a trip planned to the London Acoustic Guitar Show next Saturday. Not planning on buying anything (I hope), but some "research", as I plan to make an Acoustic Guitar, whenever I can afford another one of Mark Bailey's Build Your Own Guitar Courses. Hoping to pick up some ideas to play around with in order to develop my own spec.

I've played a couple of them and they were pretty amazing sounding instruments, and very very light.
