    £200 for a delay.

    I am getting very old.
The Reverend Lord Henry was not one of those new-fangled parsons who carry the principles of their vocation uncomfortably into private life.

Seems reasonable to me. Look at the Eventide Timefactor... twice the price.

With pre-sets, tap tempo and a looper, never mind the midi

Seems priced pretty fairly to me.

Not quite sold yet but it does seem you get alot for your money. I'm still sold on the strymon el capistan but that doesn't have the presets that the flashback has or the 40 seconds more looper. However, I guess it's a different animal altogether really.

Hmmm I guess I will have to think it out again

I just can't shake the notion of the Flashback (and by implication the range) being unreliable, based on the thread on here of people who were caught out when the repair agent in the UK went bust - was surprised how many forumites had faulty Flashbacks. It may be an unrepresentative notion, but it has stuck with me.

In terms of price and features - yes I agree - it looks fantastic.
    Red ones are better.

Well given that you realise it is an unrepresentative notion, you should be able to unstick it with minimal fuss.

You can say the DL-4 has a reputation for being unreliable, because the switches on those things died by the thousands over the years. But regarding the Flashback... a smattering of people on a forum, a reliability issue does not maketh of it.

I did see some of those posts and was a bit worried about buying the smaller Flashback but went ahead anyway and I must've been one of the lucky ones (I believe the Line 6 DL4's suffered a similar fate yet people kept buying them/replacing the switches etc).

I think the fact that TC insisted on the faulty ones being looked at/repaired rather than the shop replacing them was a very poor move but let's hope they've now addressed the problems. Well, I hope they have as I've just ordered my X4! There'll probably be a "Feeler" on classifieds soon for my existing TC Flashback and probably my Nova Repeater.

For what it's worth, someone on a US site estimated the pedal was about 9 inches long. If anyone has any true dimensions, that would be useful.
