That's what it says on the back of the unit itself (just going from the pics on the TC website).

    IT'S HERE!
Shot down to Guildford this morning and picked up my Flashback X4 and first impressions are good and it is big-ish.The ease with with which you can now select your preset settings on the fly and the added toneprints and new additions like Space are great. The helpful guy in the shop (cheers Paul) even hooked me up in stereo (something I haven't done since my MIDI rack rig days in the 80s and 90s) and what a difference. This may be the way to go.

I've sold my regular Flashback but I'm still holding onto my Nova Repeater as a back up as I know some experienced problems with this range of pedals and I don't like TC's policy of having to send the pedal off for repair/assessment and there currently not being a TC repairer in the UK.

Obviously, still very fresh so I'll post something once I've had more of a play with it.

Just reading the manual. You can use the expression pedal input for the following:

    Delay Time
    Feedback Level
    Delay Level

Delay time is the one I'm interested in. I can take my custom output from my M9, which is tap-tempo out... go into the exp input, and tap both pedals from the M9. Epic.

Yep, there's so much this one can do and I've had great fun with it.

    Heads-up:
I don't think the manual's included with this pedal so I had to download mine. You may need to too.
The looper is now a doddle to use and it's useful having delay on your recordings

I'm pretty sure the expression input is for an expression pedal (pedal position controls delay time) not for a tap tempo input. There's a thread on TGP where the TC chap (Tore?) answered a question about that
    Red ones are better.

Ah yes, you're right. With a tap tempo switch it'll just jump between minimum and maximum, bummer. Only reason I'd give a shit is because I bloody well got the M9 because the original Flashback didn't have tap-tempo, and not my whole effects board is based around the m9! Tap tempoing multiple pedals is not something I particularly want to do.

I think I'm going to have to find more room on my board (and in my budget).

Got my FB x4 yesterday...and just like the single FB this is brilliant...firstly the size x4 obviously bigger so will have to change my pedalboard around to fit....possible size might put some off!!!...You get 15 delay types for me the delay /looper switch is the best feature..you can save 3 different delay types to different songs these are stored in ABC...like I've said before TC Electronic listen to what the guitarist wants and if you bought the single Flashback you gotta upgrade to the FBx4 it's outstanding...still much too discover with this pedal so hope this quick insight will help!!...

Looking at the manual (page 12), it says that you can use a MIDI clock signal to set the delay tempo (although the subdivision switch still determines the note value). I'm pretty sure you should be able to use the M9 to do that, so you can still use your tap tempo from there.

I'm fairly sure the M9 responds to midi clock, but doesn't transmit it. You'd need a separate box to clock both pedals from the same midi clock, because the TC doesn't transmit midi clock either from what I can tell.
