I just tried that mate and it would appear not- unless I'm missing something. The red tap light is flashing all the time, and it responds to tapping while the effect is off- but then when you switch the effect off it overrides what you tapped in with whatever tempo the effect has.

which in retrospect is a bit of a shitter. still a great pedal though, just means I need to tap the tempo for a part in while playing it and not before switching the delay on like I could with my M13

But presumably that would be fine if youre only using one preset per song right? unless I'm reading you wrong.

I mean, say you want a long digital delay for the solo, you tap at the beginning of the song, and so long as you don't switch to say, analog the digital delay will have its tempo for when you switch it on.

yeah but you would have to have the digital delay switched on for it to save whatever you tap in- on the M13 I could save the global tempo whether the delays were on or not. hopefully they will add this in a firmware update!

actually I just tried something on it- ok so say you have delay A activated, then you switch it off- you can then tap in a new tempo for delay A and it will have the new tempo on reactivation- so long as you stick with the same delay.

This doesn't apply if you switch presets though- in that case it would revert to whatever is stored with the preset.

So in other words, 3redlights you were right along sir

can't complain mate, works fine and its quiet- the lights are pretty handy too on dark stages. I think some folk grumble about it being powered by a 18v wall wart but that doesn't bother me at all. I'm powering 7 or 8 pedals with it and all is well
