A final bump is never really a final bump...
i have one of the later chinese made ones. i tried a purple on in the shop - loved it and ordered it in blonde, forgetting that the blondey had a different top... doh! the blonde doesn't sound as good unplugged as the purple one.
i subsequently changed the bridge pup for one that i coil-tap. the guitar actually sounds much better tapped than in humbucker-mode.
feels better than a g5120. might be because it's a real bigsby not a licenced version. not sure.
I think these earlier ones have a deeper body too.
Did this sell in the end?
Everything louder than everything else.

As I don't need to fund GAS at the moment, I don't need to sell it. Like I said earlier in the thread, I didn't really want it to go, so it's good news for me.
I will change the title of the thread. I do highly recommend these, and another MR member does have one for sale too (though it's not purple).
