Fingerstyle and slide blues
Been getting more and more into acoustic blues so splashed out on a resonator and want to work on my fingerstyle and slide work. Can anyone recommend any books to help me along?
Been playing electric for 12 years but my finger picking needs work and whilst I've messed around with slide for a little while, I'd say my slide work is basic so a book with suggested licks and riffs or to help me work through some delta blues songs would be good. Something with a CD would also be a bonus.
Any recommendations?

In my opinion (and I teach) it's easier watching than just listening to a CD and trying to hammer out tab. Delta blues is about style, feeling and cast iron rhythm ... you can't learn any of that from a book! Listen to the greats and try to emulate them ... they learned that way ...

Type slide lesson into u tube and there's a wealth of good stuff.

Whilst I haven't tried the slide course (Trufire), I'm a big fan of Truefire's videos as the teaching and vids are top notch. Although, I've been a member for a while, you can join and get 30 days free access.
