Default WTB: Monitors for PA System (Active / Passive)

I know zilch about the technology of PA systems and what is needed to make them work ... but I (on behalf of 'the band') am seeking some monitors along the lines of these.

I think we want one active and one pasive.

The PA system we have is Wharfedale Titan 2 if that info helps.

So flood me with great offers.

I'm in NE England ... Teesside area.

    Thanks.

    btw
    is miscellaneous the best section?
I wondered about the amps section initially?

I think I could sort you out:

    1 EV S200 - oldie but goodie passive 300w
1 DAS Audio SML 12A - 2009 RRP was £1950, active 400w to woofer 100w to compression driver.

    £450 for both.

    Based in Teesside also

Thanks matt - I passed that info on to the 'sound man' ...
no doubt you're offering good gear at a keen price but it's over budget for us at the mo.

As we have a Wharfedale system ... can I take this space as a place to ask about the Wharfedale EVP-X12 or X15 monitors?
How much would you see as a fair price for a used pair?

I would say nothing more than £100 a piece for used budget monitors. You can get Thomann own brand from £75 new and they're really not too bad at all.
