Just went back to the shop and tried the Recording King RO126 and really think it's for me and great spec for the money. However, a little more than I wanted to pay etc (aren't they all) considering I still have to buy a case for it. So will look around for a second hand one I think.

Anyone selling one and not too far away from me?

I had to share this as Ive just tried a secondhand Blueridge BR 243 and it's an amazingly spec'd guitar for the price and sounds really good.

Still a bit over the budget for me as it doesn't come with a case but food for thought to save up the extra

Get yourself onto thomann.de - waaaaaaay better prices than here at the moment given that the Euro is crap.

I'll be picking up an RO-127 sometime soon, absolutely cracking guitars and they compare very favourably with the equivalent spec Martin

    £266!!!!!!!!

FWIW, I'm normally a 'hog back & sides fan - but on these the RW's had something extra that appealed

Thanks for that. However, I think I am quite keen on the Blueridge BR243 that I have seen second hand. Thanks for the offer though

Guitar geek, did you end up buying a Recording king RO-127, as I am thinking of ordering one blind off of Thomman, the rosewood back and sides one sounds amazing spec for the price, but I hate buying blind. Sorry to jump on someone else's thread!

They are a total bargain at the moment, aren't they, I'm gonna mooch around some guitar shops next week and try a few in the range to get a feel for them before ordering the RO-127. Cant' find any in Brighton, but I think Wunjo guitars in London stock them.

I believe that "The Loar" guitars are part of the same company, also get good reviews. Their range is archtops and "blues-box" type small-bodied acoustics, Gibson L-00 type things.

Wunjo has a couple, but your best bet is Westside Distribution (also stocking The Loar and Sigma).

I'm in there on almost a weekly basis playing the RO's!
