One of our regular gigs is at the Prince of Wales pub on Ham hill near Yeovil. we play in the beer garden. They only do it throughout the summer, but almost every single gig we have done its rained or been very cold. Two weeks ago we should have played there, and the weather was going to be perfect, hot sun, 3pm to 6pm. great. Then the drummer has an operation and we have to cancel, not his fault but I got a mates band to stand in and they had a great gig.
Landlord thinking September is scheduled to be fairly good, gives us the gig for today, as last gig of the summer. Yesterday was perfect clear blue sky and hot. today the hourly forcast is 1pm light rain, 2 pm light rain, 3pm start time, heavy rain. 4 and 5 heavy rain. 6pm finish, light rain. someone up there hates me or the band,we are doomed. I`m looking out the window at pouring rain and gig has not been canclled .............
