STOLEN - Engl Powerball 100 Head
Dear All,
this is when an on-line community can really show its strength. Yesterday (26th Sept) My good mate Joe had his flat broken into and his nearly new Engl Powerball 100 head stolen. This was in Folkestone, Kent.
There aren't that many Powerballs out there and there aren't that many people who use/need a 100 watt head. SO I'm hoping if the scum that stole it starts touting it round on calssifieds, ebay, gumtree your local shop etc etc than I'd be grateful if you'd let me know. If you're in the market for one and get one offered, get the serial number, ask for its receipt/ history otherwise you may end up with a very 'hot' amp but not in a good way and possibly end up in trouble too.
Joe is a full time guitar teacher and gigging musician, this is his livelihood.

Just spoken to Pete (Northerngit), who's an old mate from way back. It turns out this is the amp that was stolen, but it was recently recovered by the cops in some Kentish crack den. It is now being sold by its rightful owner, who's gone off it after its little adventure with the crackheads...
Case closed.
