Have you tried the Vortex flanger? I found the online clips sounded horrible (whilst their demos with Tore are usually great).

First post, read the thread and had to throw in my 2 cents.

I have the Trinity Reverb (hall of fame special) and use the toneprints a lot. I change them with the iphone app which is a real convenience. At first I thought both the app and toneprints themselves were a bit of a gimmick, but it is really quick and simple to change them round. In particular, I like using the toneprints that are effectively a modulation effect. The Troy Van Leeuwen vibrato reverb is very good, and there are also very nice flanged and phased reverbs among others (which i keep as favourites on the app!). I don't think I'd ever want to spend the money or find space on my board for a vibrato for example, but it adds something a little different just for a single song in the set or for a bit of noodling.

Never ever used it. I have a flashback and use two sounds, a mod delay for a chorus-like effect, and a short slap-back, I think I should either get something simpler, or get to grips with the technology.

    Which one's that?

I haven't been massively arsed to try them out but that one sounds interesting.

    Thread bump!

During a bit of a board shuffle last night I finally got round to updating the firmware on my TC pedals so I could use the iPhone toneprint app....and bloody 'ell that's a neat trick!

I really should have done this ages ago, it's brilliant, and dead easy/quick to use.

I've got a Hall of Fame Reverb and Corona Chorus, and I'm now wishing I hadn't sold by Flashback on.

Don't forget they're releasing the Toneprint editor soon. Probably time to get another Flashback

At the moment I'm bewildered by the amount of artists toneprints on the app let alone creating my own!

I really wish the Flashback x 4 had an LED screen like my Nova Delay, that's the only thing keeping me from getting one.

However I am getting tempted to sell my Carbon Copy and get the regular Flashback again...but the CC is a pedal I've bought/sold/bought again I'm not sure I can bring myself to go round again.

Why not use both? I've found that a second shorter and quieter delay can really add some atmospherics to clean and lead stuff.
