Hi I have scoured the net to get answers for this and i have sat for hours testing continuity and trying to work out this issue it is now 48 hrs to our next gig and my speakers are still in bits I hope someone can help here goes
Our front of house old peavey prosys15 speakers include 1x15 1x8 and 1xhorn
the passive crossover in one has blown I have replacements but the interfaces are different on the original there is a single connector with the 6 wires in that i have been trying to work out what is what
on the new 3 ways there are just +- in and loads of others but id dont know where to put all the wires from the input
here is what i know the
fig 1 red orange black and white are all on 1 side of the input PCB and have no influence on the other half
the yellow and blue are on the full range bi amp hi side and both link to the XL yellow (+) is 1 pin blue is the other 2
the bi amp lo side
orange is + and is linked directly to white black and red are both - the PCB is split down the line between the red and blue
fig 2 orange and yellow are linked black blue and the empty pin next to the red are all linked the other empty sockets are UN-soldered on the rear of the board the white is not linked to any of the other wires here
fig 3 white is linked with yellow speaker wire
blue black and the empty pin next to the red are linked to the blue speaker wires on the mid and high but only on the red of the low
the blue speaker wire on the low seems to track from the speaker out through the larger of the chokes and link up to the red speaker out
beyond me can anyone fathom it for me
