Hi, I've been reading this forum for several months but have finally got something to contribute. I hope this is in the right section.

Earlier this year I bought a Blackstar Series One S104 EL34 Head and 4x12 cabinet and I really like it. To my knowledge the Clean and Crunch channels are the same as on the 2 channel 100 watt head, so I decided to record some videos showing what the OD channels add to the package as there are not many clips of these channels on youtube.

The format is just a riff, and then a solo, played over and over again with me changing the ISF setting so you can hear how it affects the tone. I kept the gain on the lower side, there is plenty of gain left to come on both channels but this is generally as much as I'd use for my own recordings.

OD1 with gain at 9:30

OD2 with gain at 9:00

The EQ for bass mid and treble all at 12:00, resonance at 13:00 and presence at 11:00, so it is pretty close to being flat. I personally find I like to adjust the presence and resonance controls along with the ISF, so for the purpose of this video I found Res 13:00 and Pres 11:00 to be a good balance across the ISF spectrum through my cab, this is the reason it is not flat.

Master volume is around 1/10, just at the point where it becomes 'loud' in the house. DPR is set to 100 watts.

I hope this is helpful to anyone interested in the amp. I have some more videos of the amp on my channel but I think as they are covers rather than sound demos this is the wrong forum to post them in.

Thanks,
