They're all good!! Really you cant go wrong with any of 'em...they all seem to excel at certain things and outdo the others on something but then the others will have something that beats it!

Straight into an amp...I'd say for effects - the GT8 is probs tops IMO.

For amp sims I prefer the POD or GNX3000...for higher gain sounds and the Tonelab for cleaner and more vintage type OD sounds.

Also do consider the GNX3000 as I paid £300 for mine and thought it was a bargain(they were £349 at the time)...only now you can get them for £169 new!

On the value for money issue now I think the price of a new GNX3000 is an absolute steal!! If you got one I think you'd be well chuffed.
Remember when your feeling down - If the world didn't suck we'd all fall off!!

Stick it on eBay. They seem to be holding their value quite well.

I would have had that off you in a flash!

Why do you want rid of it?

Its basically that i dont use most of the things on it.
I find that i get more out of the stomp box set up that i use and i find it not that user friendly. It is more than likely just down to the fact i am not big on reading instruction manuals and trying to work out how things work lol.
You can get some really good sounds and i really like the delay options but i never use the amp and cab simulations and i found that when i did use it i was putting it into manual mode and having it set up as individual sounds. Im sure if you spend time with it it is capable of some great things and i know a lot of user's love it but its just not my bag. I bought it because i have always used individual pedals, so i thought i would try something new.

    Fair enough.

Have you watched the Lick Library DVD? It explains (very simply!) how to get your head around it. I never read manuals either but watching a DVD is a piece of piss!

I've got one and don't need it if you fancy taking it off my hands?

If he doesn't want it, I wouldn't mind having a gander.
