For Sale: Warwick Corvette Passive Standard - Built in Germany 2005 - Burgundy Red Oil Finish - £350 cash

I bought this bass in 2005 from GAK in Brighton. This bass brand new would currently retail for £900. It is in good condition, there is some buckle rash on the back and some small marks on the front which can be seen in the pictures but they are purely cosmetic and have no impact on the playability.

The bass includes a deluxe Warwick gig bag, official manual and truss rod tool (pictured). This is really is a lovely bass but I am having to let it go for financial reasons. The body of the Corvette Standard consists of two or three pieces of US swamp ash. With its shape, ergonomics and sound the Corvette Standard satisfies the aspirations of the most demanding bass players.

The switchable, active MEC 2-way electronics and the MEC pickup combination complement one another. Three control knobs provide flexible tone control, in the studio as well as on stage. The highly sensitive dynamic response of the Corvette Standard lets you articulate the most gentle of nuances or slap it for crisp, fat basslines. Additionally, a 4 and 5 string passive configuration is available with single coil J/J pickups.
