Default Marshall JCM 800 2205 & matching cab

Marshall JCM 800 2205 50 watt split channel valve head (1986) and matching 4 x12 cab.

This is my vintage Marshall rig which I have had for over 25 years. My living situation make it impossible for me to use, hence it’s now up for sale.

This is a killer rig which will take you from clean, to blues, to hard rock to all out metal with a volume knob and footswitch. Plug in and you WILL be blown away in complete tonal bliss :0)

    Features:

    5 x 12A7A preamp valves.
    2 x 5881 output valves.

2 channels – Normal and Boost, foot switchable.

Normal channel – volume , treble and bass controls.
Boost channel- gain, volume, bass, middle and treble controls.
Shared presence, reverb and master volume controls.

Speaker output selector – 4/8/16 ohms.
    Effects loop
Direct In for power amp section bypass to recording or mixing desk device.
    Footswitch included.

The Drake transformers are original to the unit and have no rust what-so-ever. The chassis and circuit board are A+ condition for a unit that’s 27 years old.

The cab is the matching 1960 b Lead. This is loaded with 4 Celestion G12T-75s, also original to the unit. Note that there is a small “dent” that has stretched the grill cloth, battle wound from a hellacious gig in Sydney. Other than this, the cab is in excellent condition.

The rig is in Golders Green and serious buyers are welcome to come give it the flogging it deserves.

    PM me for pics.

If you are looking for a master volume Marshall rig, this JCM 800 is the business. You will not be disappointed. First to try will surely buy.

Very sad to see it go, much of life was through this rig.

    cheers,

    Matt.

    Here's the weekly bump!

I played it for 20 min yesterday. Ripping Marshall tones as one would expect from this beast.

Shame I'm moving into a flat.

Make me an offer, you may be surprised!

    Cheers,

    Matt.
